The company has appointed Joseph DaBronzo, Pharm.D., J.D., director, scientific and professional education. Dr. DaBronzo is responsible for leadership of the medical science liaison teams and chairs committees for the scientific review of Eisai grants for continuing medical education and independent investigator initiatives. Dr. DaBronzo has more than 15 years of pharmaceutical experience, having worked most recently with Sanofi Pasteur and Purdue Pharma. Antonia LoPresti-Solis, M.D., has been promoted to senior medical director, medical services. Jamie Harrell Mark Stanton MedImmune Expands Commercial Organization MedImmune, Gaithersburg, Md., which focuses on the areas of infectious diseases, cancer, and inflammatory diseases, has added to its commercial management organization. Jamie Harrell has been appointed VP, infectious disease marketing, and Mark Stanton as VP, managed markets. The addition of Mr. Harrell and Mr. Stanton builds on MedImmune’s commercial leadership expansion. Mr. Harrell is responsible for leading the strategic direction of marketing activities for Synagis as well as the commercialization of MedImmune’s next-generation monoclonal antibody for RSV.
